Dhara 302 is a action – gang war film based on true events in the land of Rajasthan.
Javed Ali graced this occasion and the others present were the lead pair Rufi Khan, Dipti Dhotre, music director Sahil Multi Khan, Director Jitendra Singh Naruka and the producer Bhawani Shankar Yogi.
Launched under the banner of Sakshi films, other actors in this action thriller are Gulshan Pandey, Vicky Pandit, Kannan Aiyar, Gagan Pradip, Pramod Vaishnav, Rohit Tada, Pradip Kabra, Rupesh Patel, Om Pandit, Hardip Baddoval, Paras Saraswat and Sima Singh.
With the current trend of films based on true events in Bollywood depicting various aspects of the lives of dacoits with certain cinematic liberties utilized by the director to make it an intersting film without deterring from the facts.
Dhara 302 is the story of a boy Veer Singh who takes the route of crime under difficult circumstances at the age of 12 years. One step taken in this direction, and then it is a one way street. The young lad is forced to continue his journey in the big bad world of crime.
Veer Singh joins a notorious gang of Jhalavad which indulges in all ill-legal business and has attained its dominance over crime world. He then steers such a crime mechanism that leads to his supremacy in the underworld of Rajasthan.
Sahil Multi Khan has rendered the music for this film which has lyrics by Sahil Fatehpuri and it has Javed Ali’s golden voice in a sufi song ‘Maula’ with other numbers being a club number ‘Ek Kash’, a romantic ‘Sochta Hoon’ and an item number ‘Mona ka Tona’. The album is released by Zee Music.
Speaking on the ocassion, Jitendra Singh Naruka says, “There is a general perception that Rajasthan is famous only for its business minded people, and thru this film we have portrayed life and times of the dreaded dacoit. And the plus point is that it is shot in the beautiful locations of Kota and nearabouts in Rajasthan.
